Number 8 is ready to roll y’all and we’ve got another night of free Oxford music from one of Oxfords greatest live music venues The Isis Farmhouse. Kicking off the night is Dan McKean Music – an Oxford based singer-songwriter singing delicate and melodic guitar and piano based songs with a folk, blues, and country twist. He will no doubt be bringing some delicate roots and sunshine pop moments to number 8’s Day of the Deadbeats. Next up!? Fronted by Oxfords best loved band leader, the legendary Stuart Macbeth, they will get your toes tapping and your hip bones swinging with a rowdy set of much loved tunes to warm your cockles on even the most frosty of nights. Get there early as The Deadbeats will be warming up the room from 7pm – there will also be special guests Adrian Burns and Noreen Cullen who are not only the taverns governors but also world class musicians. If you don’t already know, our hostess with the mostess Noreen is a fiddle-player who genuinely sounds like no one else (aka the Hendrix of the Violin). She is joined by Adrian Burns on guitar and vocals and their repertoire encompasses Gypsy, Country, Blues, Pop and Rock.
