It’s back! Day of the Deadbeats returns, and we are ripe and ready for the plucking! Saturday 7th August your hosts The Deadbeat Apostles return to their spiritual home The Isis River Farmhouse for what is set to be a proper comeback special. First up the wonderful Emma Hunter, who is fresh from her legendary Bullingdon gig and radio appearances, and who joins us for the very first time. Known for her emotive, 1950’s-Flamenco inspired guitar with layered loops and complex, harmonious vocals in an evocative, cinematic soundscape she is ready to set the night on fire. Next up the ever-triumphant Beard of Destiny. Day of the Deadbeats veterans these guys keep coming back for more and we love em for it! Get on down for some rockin guitar and get on up for some stand up kit. This dynamic duo are sworn to fight the terrible crime of boring song writing……. how? Head down and they will serve you it big and loud on a hairy plate. Oh and us Deadbeats will be closing the show with some some sweet sweet soul and a whole lotta rock and roll. This is a special one for us. The last DOTDB was way back in December 2019, and it’s been a long old lonely road brothers and sisters. We would love nothing more than to celebrate the return of live music with you all in what is one of Oxfords greatest music venues. It’s still free as a bird and kicking off from 7pm. Fasten your seatbelts, The Deadbeats have returned……
